What I've been up to and what's coming
It's been a rough year and last several months. Personally I've had an Arm injury,healing and recovery to the current Film and Writers Strike and lets not forget Life! The uncertainty of the current state of Film work and downtown really sucks. I'm hoping a resolution will be made and fair Contracts are agreed to for the many working Actors.
I am currently am still on board for The Last Days of Belle Star Feature Film. I've had the pleasure of meeting and working with Director and Producer Eric Parkinson a couple of times on another Production. He's a passionate creative and a great guy. I'm excited to work with him on this Film. I feel I have close connection to the Story as I'm related to Belle Starr. To my understanding Production will get started again in Oct-Nov 2023 pending SAG waivers for the Production.
I'm also currently writing and planning to film my fist of 2 Indie Films under my Dead Clan Films. The Ballad of Ella Mae, and Uniform Alpha Papa- (working title)- A Native American Sci-fi Horror film. Planning on shooting the first Leg in Roswell N.M. at the end of August and finishing it up in Kansas and Oklahoma in Months to follow.
November 2-4 -2023
I will be stepping back to a live stage 2 day Performance at the Momentary in Bentonville Ar. with Kiowa Artist and Treasure Jay Benham of Red Otter Studios. The show features Jay's contemporary Art ledger. He takes his paintings and brings them to life. I've had the pleasure of being in one piece already. "Refrigerator High School Dropouts"- which also was turned into a film and chosen for showing at a few Film Festivals. Most recently the up-coming Fort Smith International Film Festival 2023.
